80th birthday
      June Ann Stafford will celebrate her 80th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5. The event, hosted by her children, will be held in the Fellowship Hall at Center United Methodist Church, two miles north of Young America. She was born Dec. 5, 1929, the daughter of Dena Vaughn and Harry Cohee.

Woolridge 60th anniversary
      Mr. and Mrs. Carl Woolridge of Delphi will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with family at Thanksgiving. Woolridge and the former Ruth Felix were married Dec. 3, 1949, in Colburn. He is retired from B.P. Amoco Oil and she is a homemaker.
