Superior Court judgments are gathered from public records on file in the Carroll County Clerk’s office on the second floor of the courthouse, Delphi. New filings Dustin S. Peglow was charged with disorderly conduct. Juan Alberto was charged with operating motor vehicle without ever receiving a license. Stephanie L. Hicks was charged with theft. Matthew R. Shanks was charged with reckless driving and speeding. Joseph Collins, Jr. was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Justin E. Ellars was charged with OWI-endangering and operating w/an ACE of .15 or more. Chad M. Abbott was charged with OWI-endangering, operating w/an ACE of .15 or more and failure to stop after accident resulting in non-vehicle damage. Jason R. Asselin was charged with battery resulting in bodily injury. * * * The following cause was found in favor of the defendant: Northern Indiana Public Service vs. Doug Crume. The following cause has been dismissed without prejudice: Beneficial Indiana vs. Bradley and Julie Barbour. Default judgment was granted to the plaintiff in: Discover Bank vs. William Baum, $2,388.59, and Discover Bank vs. Kevin Forrest, $5,802.62. Default and summary judgment entry and decree of foreclosure was granted to the plaintiff in Countrywide Home Loans vs. Alan and Beth McCracken, $62,886.16. Juan P. Hernandez, 27, Indianapolis, was convicted of driving while suspended. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, suspended, and one year of supervised probation. Gloria K. Duran, 32, Monticello, was convicted of operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license. She was sentenced to 60 days in jail, suspended, and one year of supervised probation. Stephen S. Thompson, 37, Lafayette, was convicted of operating a motorboat while intoxicated. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail, suspended, and 360 days of supervised probation. Christopher J. Meyers, 33, Lafayette, was convicted of driving while suspended. He was sentenced to 68 days in jail. The following causes brought by the State of Indiana were dismissed with prejudice: vs. Derrick E. Flex; vs. Ryan D. Kelly; vs. Percy L. Parkevich; vs. Courtney J. Kingery and vs. Chase Z. Brummett. Dustin E. Lindsey was ordered to pay a deer replacement fee of $500. Samuel D. Parker, 18, Lafayette, was convicted of criminal mischief. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail, suspended, and one year of supervised probation. The following were meted a combination of jail time, suspensions, probation and other penalties for convictions related to alcohol or illegal substances: Curtis D. Etter, 18, Athens, Wisc.; Tamara S. Hembree, 34, Delphi; Jessica E. Hullinger, 18, Lafayette; and Jeremiah A. Combs, 19, of Delphi. Karl A. Leydet, 27, was convicted of attempted interfering with drug and alcohol screening test. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail. Cecelia E. Smith, 27, Lafayette, was convicted of driving while suspended and speeding. She was sentenced to one year in jail, suspended, and one year of supervised probation. Judgment was granted to the plaintiff in the following: LVNV Funding LLC vs. Joseph L Troutman, $333.72; and CACH LLC vs. Belinda S. Pearson, $4,435.83. Attorney Patrick F. Manahan was appointed judge pro tempore of the court on Oct. 30. Default judgment was granted to the plaintiff in the following causes: Capital One Bank vs. Zachary D. Platt, $863.92; and Citibank vs. David C. Wooten, $2,929.48. Summary judgment was granted to the plaintiff in Citibank vs. Gretchen N. Longfellow, $3,587.24. |
