Kimberly N. Rowen, 21, of Delphi, died at 12:50 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, at Methodist Hospital in Ind ianapolis. She had been in ill health and a patient there since July.

Born Jan. 24, 1988, in Huntington, she was the daughter of Michelle A. Wilson Reed (husband: Jim) of Delphi and Michael B. Rowen (fiancé: Joan Mins) of Lexington, Ky., who survive.

Miss Rowen was a 2006 graduate of Westfield High School and attended the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville.

She worked in administration at a law office in Evansville.

Miss Rowen enjoyed listening to music, singing and writing lyrics.

She loved spending time with her family.

Surviving with her parents are her fiancé, Brent Talley of Mt. Carmel, Ill.; a sister, Elizabeth Rowen of Delphi; a stepsister, Julie Reed of Flora; a stepbrother, Jimmy Reed of Terre Haute; maternal grandparents, Walter and Sharon Wilson of Lafayette; paternal grandmother, Juanita L. Rowen of Monmouth, Ill.; maternal stepgrandmother, Margaret J. Reed of Delphi; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceding her in death were maternal grandma, Mary Jane, and paternal grandpa, Barry.

Visitation will be today, Wednesday, from 3 p.m. until time of the service at 6 p.m. at Abbott Funeral Home in Delphi. Pastor Scott Gamel will officiate. There will be a private family committal of her ashes.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
