Arlie Ray Wilson, 77, Delphi, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at his home.

Born Jan. 17, 1932, in Tippecanoe County, he was the son of the late Amueil and Hazel B. Balser Wilson. His marriage was on Jan. 22, 1951, in Clairborne County, Tenn., to Osie L. Bradford, who survives.

Mr. Wilson served as a sergeant in the National Guard from 1950-1953.

He was a founding member of the First Assembly of God in Delphi.

He retired from the Journal & Courier as an OCC journeyman pressman in 1985.

Surviving with his wife are four daughters, Mary K. (Kathy) Mitchell (husband: Ed) of Delphi, L. Sue Dexter (husband: Steve) of Brookston, Anna B. Weaver and Norma E. Pearson, both of Rossville; a son, Ray Gene Wilson (wife: Beth) of Santa Barbara, Calif.; three sisters, Lillie Mae Bell (husband: Rev. Art) of Fort Smith, Ark., Ellen Rosalie Bradford (husband: Nathan) of Monticello, and Ester Wanita Lawler (husband: Robert) of Town Creek, Ala.; five grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren.

Services will be held today, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. at First Assembly of God in Delphi with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Brent Oliver will officiate. Burial will follow at the I.O.O.F. Memorial Garden.
