Teens to audition at talent showcase

Talent Fusion Agency of Indianapolis is representing two local teens who have been selected to attend the Applause Rising Talent Showcase (ARTS) in Orlando, Fla., Dec. 3-6.
Emma Packard and Jake Walker will travel to Orlando to audition in front of agents and casting directors from such organizations as Epic Records/Sony, MGM/UA Worldwide, New York Film Academy, Cameron Mackintosh– Broadway, Disney, and Nickelodeon.
Emma is a junior at Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School. Her parents are John and Lori Kinzie of Flora and Dave and Jan Packard of Logansport. Jake is a sophomore at Carroll. He is the son of Jim and Jenny Walker of Burlington.
Applause International is a respected Acting, Talent, and Modeling Organization that finds new faces and bright talent in areas all around the country. It is the parent organization for Talent Fusion Agency in Indianapolis.
Emma and Jake have been attending monthly workshops in Indianapolis to learn more about stage presence, auditioning for commercials, etc. The auditions in Orlando could present them with possibilities in modeling, singing, and acting at a national level. They also have the potential of receiving scholarships in those areas.
‘Sending Off Event’
The two teens have been working the past seven months on fundraisers to support this opportunity for them. A “Sending Off Event” will take place at 4 p.m. Nov. 29 at Living Faith Church of the Brethren. The church is located at 310N 250W, Flora. Emma and Jake will be performing. Refreshments will be served and there will be a free will offering.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend to support Emma and Jake prior to their departure three days later for this “chance of a lifetime.”
