Brian Simmons of Delphi participated in the Special Olympics Nov. 14 in Crawfordsville. He was part of the White County team and competed against eight other Olympians. He won a blue ribbon by placing first in Division 24 bowling with a score of 655.

Simmons will compete at state Dec. 5 in Indianapolis.
