Free throws give Panthers edge over Oracles
      Pioneer girls basketball team hit 11-of-14 free throws in the fourth quarter to hold onto a 46-44 victory over Delphi. Jordayn Jargstorf and Dani Burge led the Oracles (0-1) with 12 points apiece. Kelsey Williams led the Panthers (1-1) with 12.

DCHS volleyball player is chosen a North All-Star
      Delphi senior volleyball players Brittany Nelson and Dani Burge were nominated to try out for the 1A/2A North All-Star Volleyball Team last weekend at Elkhart Memorial High School. Nelson was selected to participate on the All-Star Team and will play at Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis this Sunday at 4 p.m. Her team will play against the 1A/2A South All Star Team.

Local resident is Special Olympics winner
      Brian Simmons of Delphi participated in the Special Olympics Nov. 14 in Crawfordsville. He was part of the White County team and competed against eight other Olympians. He won a blue ribbon by placing first in Division 24 bowling with a score of 655. Simmons will compete at state Dec. 5 in Indianapolis.
