CORRECTION: The charges in the Nov. 11 issue of the Comet for the following should have read: Russell M. Carter, Jr., was charged with public intoxication. Robyn L. Flanagan, 19, of Delphi, was charged with criminal trespassing.

New filings

Edward High was charged with non-support of a dependent child.

Cecelia E. Smith was charged with driving while suspended and speeding.

Christian Lane was charged with maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and domestic battery.

The following causes were dismissed with prejudice: Pearson’s Gas vs. Veno Paraskecas; Chase Bank vs. Shawn J. McClain; Mann Chevrolet-Buick Inc. vs. Troy Cook; Delphi Community School Corporation vs. Chris and Tricia Baker; and Nationstar Mortgage LLC vs. Jon L. Holt.

Lucas, DDS vs. Doug and Jaime Nichols, $2,304; Beneficial Indiana vs. David W. Wagner, $11,317.64; Capital One Bank vs. Mary L. Scowden, $7,486.90 and CACH of Colorado vs. Chyne Holguin, $1,721.02.

Additional judgment was granted the plaintiff in Jason and Melissa Reece vs. Joe and Brittney Wolfe, $2,369;

The cause CACH LLC vs. William Benefiel was dismissed.

The following were meted a combination of jail time, suspensions, probation and other penalties for convictions related to alcohol or illegal substances: Andres Bautista, 18, Frankfort; Hector Pacheco, 41, Bradenton, Fla.; Bryan E. Cunningham, 20, Monticello; Eric D. Stark, 35, Monticello; and Ashlee R. McKenzie, 20, Flora.

Alesha A. Reamer, 26, Lafayette, was convicted of operating as a habitual traffic violator. He was sentenced to one year in jail with all but 38 days suspended and 327 days of supervised probation.

Phillip E. Myers, Miami Correctional Facility, was convicted of having no valid licenses. He was fined $10 plus court costs.

The following cause was dismissed with prejudice: State of Indiana vs. Leanne K. Raney.

The following causes brought by the State of Indiana have been dismissed without prejudice: vs. Stacie Smith and vs. Gladys E. Murphy.

The following were meted a combination of jail time, suspensions, probation and other penalties for convictions related to alcohol or illegal substances: Holly A. Fullerton, 19, Reynolds; Timothy R. Mogged, 48, Piper City, Ill.; Eric C. Hicks, 23, Lafayette; Troy M. Goris, 30, West Lafayette; and Robert R. Nethercutt, 35, Burrows.

The following causes have been dismissed: State vs. Jorge Bunrosto and State vs. Robert W. Roy.

Cody A. Patty, 21, Bringhurst, was convicted of battery. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, suspended, and 180 days of supervised probation.

Lara L. Evans, 26, Flora, was convicted of battery. She was sentenced to 180 days in jail with 62 days suspended and 247 days of supervised probation.

Andrew S. Cripe, 19, Bringhurst, was convicted of battery resulting in bodily injury. He was sentenced to 365 days in jail with 317 days suspended and 317 days of supervised probation.

Imelda Martinez, 25, of Delphi was convicted of operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended, and one year of unsupervised probation.

Jose R. Trejo of Flora was convicted of no valid license and was fined $25 plus court costs.

Joseph Olvera, 26, Logansport, was convicted of driving while suspended. He was sentenced to 365 days in jail with 305 days suspended and 305 days of supervised probation.
