A letter to Donnelly
Joe Donnelly courageous, I think not!
I would not use words like courageous for voting yes to the healthcare take over bill.
Words to better describe Joe’s actions of voting yes for the healthcare take over bill are:
Lacks courage for caving to his party and lobbyists and traitorous for violating his oath of office to uphold the constitution.
Congress does not have the authority to mandate a citizen’s purchase of anything! It is a direct violation of individual rights and many still do not understand that.
People, wake up! Your public servants have become your masters. It is our duty as citizens to govern our government.
Understand this, my fellow Americans, your public servants who care so much about you, have passed another law that some lobbyist handed them. It is “good” for “us, the people,” but they have excluded themselves once again from this bill.
Are you hearing me? Your non-representing representatives write laws that apply to you, but NOT to them.
Check the information I am telling you out for yourself. Call a representative and ask them if they will be on the same public option. Ask them how many laws that they, “your servants,” pass that also applies to them.
What is offered for free is dangerous. It usually involves a trick or a hidden agenda. If your elected representatives are unwilling to be included in this “wonderful gift,” that should tell you everything about it.
Jay Martin,
Flora
Help is needed
This year with the tough economy and loss of jobs, many children with mothers behind bars are in greater need of help this year.
Women Behind Bars Kids organization has a list of over 50 children in need through no fault of their own and who are being cared for by family members.
Please open up your heart and help by donating whatever you can give such as toys, games, personal items for girls, etc. for children ages infant on up to high school teenagers.
We are praying for your support to ensure these children have a very Merry Christmas.
Contact Phyllis Reinke at the Flora First Christian Church at (574) 967-4246 or Jackie Partlow at (765) 337- 5671 to donate items or make a financial contribution.
