Last Wednesday, members of the Lower Deer Creek Church of the Brethren delivered 1,280 pounds of food to the Food Pantry in Flora.

The congregation donated the food during the church’s five-week “Raise the Turkey, Hide the Pastor” campaign.

Helping to deliver the food were Pastor Guy Studebaker, Doug, Karen and Jacob Stevens, Doris Harter, Joe and Mary Jo Redmon, and Bruce, Sarah and Jenny Dunk.

The church also collected paper products that will be delivered later for the Carroll County Christmas Baskets project.
