Be a blessing to a child this holiday season
This holiday season will be difficult for many families and individuals due to the rough economy and loss of jobs, but especially for those children with a parent who is incarcerated.
Women Behind Bars Kids (WBBK), founded five years ago by Delphi resident Jackie Partlow, is a program that assists children who have a parent behind bars. WBBK currently has a list of over 50 children with various needs who are being cared for by family members.
Please make sure these children, ages infant through high school, have a very Merry Christmas by making a monetary donation or a gift of toys, games, personal items for girls, etc., said Partlow.
To donate, contact Phyllis Reinke at the Flora First Christian Church at (574) 967-4246 or Partlow at (765) 337-5671.
