Bloodmobile makes Flora visit

Forty-two pints of blood were received from 47 volunteers when the Red Cross Bloodmobile visited Flora last Thursday.

Those receiving gallon pins were: Marion Blocher, Flora, 13 gallons; James Allen, Cutler, 10 gallons; Joyce Sparks, Flora, 9 gallons; and David Weckerly, Delphi, 7 gallons.

First-time donor was Chris Wright, Burlington.

The Flora United Methodist Church with five volunteers will receive $100 from Flora Psi Iota Xi, the bloodmobile sponsor. Bringhurst United Methodist Church and the Flora Old Order German Baptist Church were tied for runner-up with four volunteers each.
