Camden Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the library’s Reading Room.

Camden Woman’s Literary Club will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 17 in the library’s Reading Room. Hostesses will be Becky Lain and Nancy Biederwolf.

Women’s Missionary Society of the Baptist Church will meet at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 18 at the church. Bible book of the month is Psalms. Hostess will be Mary Whitfield.

Jesus Junction will meet at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 18 at the United Methodist Church.

Baptist Church youth will wrap candy for the Edna Martin Christian Center at 2 p.m. Nov. 21 at the church. A regular youth meeting and pizza party will also be held, along with hanging of the greens.

The annual Baptist Church Thanksgiving carry-in dinner will be held at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 15 at the church. Meat, drinks and table service will be furnished. Those attending are asked to also bring items for the Food Pantry.

Aim Hi E.H. Club will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 18 at the home of Maryanne Berkshire with Eva Lou Shanks assisting.

Camden Council of Churches met recently at the United Methodist Church. Plans were set for the Camden Community Thanksgiving Service to be held Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. at the United Methodist Church. The host pastor, Dan Gottschalk, will give the message. The other three participating churches will take part in the service. A freewill offering will benefit Released Time Religious Education.

Frank Daniel and Shanell Whitfield, Mary Whitfield and John David Whitfield attended commencement exercises held Saturday at Harrison College in Lafayette. Karen Whitfield was among the graduates, earning an associate degree in applied science in medical reimbursement technology.
