Deer Creek Presbyterian Church will have its monthly breakfast Saturday at the church from 7 to 10 a.m. The church uses the donations for community projects. It is an “all you can eat” breakfast.

Faith Lutheran Church is having a lasagna dinner after worship on Sunday. The donations collected by the outreach group will go to buy Angel Food Boxes to distribute to families in need around Christmas time.

Women of the WELCA of Faith Lutheran Church will meet Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the church for a time of bible study and fellowship. All the women of the church are encouraged to attend.

Sue Felty of Chicago was a recent guest of Mary Blue.

Also visiting them was Joann Jones of Thorntown. The women traveled to Royal Center to visit Arlene Huffman. They are all graduates of the Deer Creek High School Class of 1951.

Visiting Pat Jones Burnham recently was her daughter, Janice Jones Roberson of California.

A 50-year Masonic pin was recently presented to Don Bell by Wayne Downham of the Camden Masonic Lodge. Also attending were Bill Dyke, Charles Ryan, Ralph and Etta Byers, Mike Bell and Connie, Terry Bell and Betty Bell.
