Veterans, their families and the public are invited to attend a free meal and program Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Burlington Community Park Building. A short program will pay tribute to servicemen and women. The event is being sponsored by Burlington American Legion Post 414 and the Burlington Community Club.

Burlington First Brethren Church will host a Veterans Recognition Dinner on Monday at 6:30 p.m. for any member of the military, retired veterans or active service personnel. Reservations can be made by calling (765) 566-3265.

Park Board will meet at 7 p.m. tonight, Wednesday.

Kiwanis Club will meet Saturday at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast and meeting at the fire station.

Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Town Hall.

Women’s Missionary Society of the First Brethren Church will meet at 6 p.m. Nov. 5 at the church.

Crossroads Community Christian Church will have a Thanksgiving dinner and talent show on Nov. 22.

The annual meeting of Faith Church of Christ will be held Sunday. A carry-in harvest meal will follow.
