Sink, Underhill wed
Sara Sink and Kirk Underhill were united in marriage on August 1 at the Flora United Methodist Church.
Parents of the couple are Dean and Terri Sink of Flora and John and Carol Underhill of Lafayette.
Pastor Rex Charles officiated. The bride’s cousin, Jennifer Johanningsmeier, was pianist.
Matron of honor was the groom’s sister, Jenna Ellsberry. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Perdue, Tammy Zelten, Christina Griffin, and Susan Johanningsmeier, cousin of the bride.
Ring bearers were the bride’s cousin, Clayton Strunk, and the groom’s nephews, Logan and Karter Ellsberry.
Best men were the groom’s father, John Underhill, and Mark Perdue. Groomsmen were Tim Ellsberry, brother-in-law of the groom, Kevin Griffin, and Ryan Sink, brother of the bride.
John Strunk and Brad Kessler served as ushers.
Greeters were Toni Cook, aunt of the bride, and Kim Strunk, cousin of the bride.
A reception at the Wabash & Erie Canal Conference Center followed the ceremony.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School. She earned an Associate degree in business management from Ivy Tech State College, Lafayette, and is employed at SIA in Lafayette.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Harrison High School, Lafayette. He is also a graduate of Ivy Tech with a degree in industrial maintenance technology. He is employed at Duke Energy and farms with his family.
Mr. and Mrs. Underhill are planning to take a wedding trip this winter.
