Mr. and Mrs. Dewey McIlrath

will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner and open house on Nov. 7. The open house, hosted by their children, will be from 2 to 5 p.m. at their daughter’s home at 4682W. 600S., Rossville.

McIlrath and the former Linda Kay Spinn were married Nov. 1, 1959, at St. James Lutheran Church in Reynolds.

He is the retired owner of Dewey & Sons IGA in Rossville which opened for business in 1962. She is a retired nurse of 41 years from American Health Network in Kokomo.

They have three children, Kent McIlrath (wife: Cheryl) of Rossville, Kevin McIlrath (wife: Donna) of Monticello and Kelly Hiatt (husband: Mark) of Rossville, and eight grandchildren.
