Faith Lutheran and Deer Creek Presbyterian churches are teaming up to minister together. Join them for a special community Thanksgiving Worship Service. It will be held at the Deer Creek Community Center.

Faith Lutheran Church is having a Lasagna Dinner Outreach on Nov. 8 following morning worship service. Monies collected will go to distribute Angel Food Boxes to families in need around Christmas time.

Deer Creek Community Center is taking orders for ham loaves to be picked up Nov. 7 by calling Lois Wallace or Shelia Meek.

A Trick-or-Treat Party will be held Saturday night at the Deer Creek Community Center. Food will be provided.

The Good Neighbor Gals met recently at Logansport West Side Diner. The luncheon was a celebration of Helen Forgey’s 90th birthday. She was surprised when 11 members of her Bible study group showed up. Also attending were Liz Mylet, Marilyn Hile, Ellen Herr, Mary Ellen Johnson, Dot Fulton and Doris Jean Bryan.
