Rockfield woman wins new vehicle
     Desiree Nipple of Rockfield is the grand prize winner in First Financial Bank’s fourmonth Visa Check Card “Success” sweepstakes promotion. Nipple was presented the keys to her brand new Ford Escape Hybrid during a surprise celebration held last Wednesday at the Delphi banking center.

      GED CLASSES meet every Tuesday and Wednesday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in room AA4 at Delphi Community High School. Students may join the class at any time during the school year. Classes are free.       Trick-or-Treat Night in Camden has been set for Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. Camden Grocery will be giving out free hot dogs and pop to trick-or-treaters. The annual Halloween Party hosted by the Lions Club will begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Community Building.

ISP issues September activity report
      Indiana State Police at the Lafayette Post has released statistics for September. Troopers issued 2,071 traffic citations and wrote 1,676 traffic warnings. Troopers also arrested 31 drunk drivers, made 114 criminal arrests, and issued 101 truck citations (over 10,000 pounds gross weight).

      Zachary Taylor realized his dream of flying in a small airplane when he participated in the Oct. 17 Young Eagles Program at the Delphi Airport. Taylor was one of a group of youth who were given the opportunity to fly with local pilot Larry Gruber.
