Harvest Party will be Oct. 31, and will include a free chili supper, costume judging, cakewalk and pumpkin decorating.
The Junior League is hosting
a Haunted Woods at the park g
from 7 to 10 p.m. on the 31st. n
This is a fundraiser for the Junior League and there will be an admission fee of $5 for ages 12 and over and $3 for under age 12. The Haunted Woods may not be appropriate for young children.
Faith Church of Christ will have a Trunk of Treats from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 31 at the church.
Burlington Area Crime Watch meting will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 22 at the Community Building.
Kiwanis Club will meet at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast and meeting at the fire station.
The United Methodist Church will have a carry-in dinner Sunday at the church. The new pastor’s first Sunday will be Nov. 1.
Bible Study is held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesdays at the Senior Nutrition Center. Lunch is served at 12 noon.
As a district officer, Cheryl Milburn attended the first annual meeting of the newly combined north and south conferences of the United Methodist Women of Indiana held on Saturday.
The Senior Dinner at the Church of Christ was held last Thursday for those age 60 and older. Pat Perkins played the piano and Bill Altic was soloist. The next Senior Dinner will be at 6 p.m. Nov. 19.
