Carroll Girls Cross Country team captured the Hoosier Heartland Conference championship last Thursday at Rossville. Carroll’s Bridget Peden finished first, running away with the first place honors. Also placing in the top 10 for the Cougars were Abby Reinke in 5th, Kaira Ragan 6th and Stephanie Strawcutter 10th.
