Darrell G. Stevens, 52, of rural Lafayette, died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, at his residence.

Born Jan. 2, 1957, in Tompkinsville, Ky., he was the son of Glen Stevens and Ruby Dicks Stevens Koch. His marriage was on March 18, 1978, in Delphi, to Judy Jenkins, who survives.

Mr. Stevens was employed in housekeeping at the Indiana Veteran’s Home.

Also surviving are a daughter, Brandy Stevens of Lafayette; two sons, Travis Stevens (wife: Angie) of Brookston and Dustin Stevens of Lafayette; two sisters, Mary Ann Cave (husband: Mark) of Pollard, Ark., and Connie Catt (husband: Darrell) of Indianapolis; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be today, Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home. Services will be there Thursday at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Musselman Cemetery near Camden.

Memorials may be made to donor’s charity of choice.
