Comet staff report

Annie Hatke Annie Hatke Coffee Beat will present “Hoot and Annie” Saturday night at 7 at the Delphi Public Library.

Kim Strother is “Hoot” and Annie Hatke is “Annie” and together they serve up an impressive performance that features multiple instruments and moods as well as original songs.

Each playing guitar, banjo and mandolin the two Lafayette dwellers take on the stage playing a wide variety of folk tunes. They draw their influences from musicians like Patty Griffin, Greg Brown, Kate Rusby, Nanci Griffith, and many more.

Always learning new songs while writing some of their own on the side, the shows of “Hoot and Annie” are always changing. Adding to the evening will be fellow musician George Buechley who will add additional flavor.

The evening of live entertainment is free and open to the public. Guests should enter through the entrance on Indiana Street.
