Ervin “Bud” Henderson, 73, formerly of Delphi, died Sept. 15, 2009, in Hollywood, Fla.

Born Feb. 15, 1936, in Delphi, he was the son of the late Robert Jennings and Marie Sales Henderson.

Mr. Henderson served in the U.S. Army from 1954- 1956. He moved to Florida after serving his country and spent many years serving the public in the Miami Police Department, retiring in 1985.

Surviving is a brother, Marvin Henderson of Grover and a sister, Jean Miller of Delphi.

A private family memorial service in Delphi will be held at a later date.
