Allbaugh and Brown First grade teacher Diana Brown is Carroll Elementary's first Cougar of the Month for the new school year. She was nominated by Rhys Allbaugh, who wrote that "she's a really, really good teacher. She's a really awesome number writer. She takes good care of her kids. I'm glad she's my teacher."

The Cougar of the Month program, sponsored by Carroll PTO, is designed to encourage youth to nominate a staff member for recognition. One letter is selected each month. Both student and teacher are recognized and receive a gift.
