Dorothy Eikenberry, 80, of Flora, died at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009, at Woodbridge Health Campus in Logansport.

Born Sept. 22, 1928, near Camden in Carroll County, she was the daughter of Seth and Virgil Flora Jenkins. She attended Camden schools. On March 28, 1948, in Camden, she married Bryce Eikenberry and he preceded her on May 23, 2009.

Mrs. Eikenberry was a homemaker and farm wife who loved quilting and needlework.

She was a member of the Flora Old German Baptist Brethren Church.

Surviving are four sons, Darrell Eikenberry (wife: Susan) of Camden, Dallas Eikenberry (wife: Darlene) of Rossville, Mike Eikenberry (wife: Myrna) of Delphi, and Raymon Eikenberry (wife: Janet) of Flora; a sister, Mary Ellen Miller of California; 12 grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Ralph Jenkins, and a sister, Marjorie Jenkins.

Services were held Tuesday at the Flora Old German Baptist Brethren Church. Burial followed at Musselman Cemetery near Camden.
