Weber, Brewer pledge vows
Ashley Weber and Philip Brewer, both of Denver, Colo., were united in marriage on July 4 at the home of the bride's parents.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Susan Weber of Franktown, Colo. Parents of the groom are Stephen and Maxine Brewer of Bringhurst.
Pastor J.R. Polhemus officiated at the garden wedding.
Jennifer Logan served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Leah Rotella and Alex Weber, sister of the bride. All are from Colorado.
Jason Hendress, Denver, and Jason Calhoun, Flora, were best men. Groomsmen were Jim Brewer, Bringhurst, and Michael Brewer, Stanley, N.D., brothers of the groom.
Flower girl was Emma Brewer of Stanley, N.D., niece of the groom.
The bride and groom rode off on their Harley to have pictures taken, while the wedding party followed in an antique convertible owned by the bride's father. They returned for the reception, held in a tent, and the wedding dance in the barn.
A very memorable evening of rain, lightning, hail, and loss of electricity was met with determination to make the most of it and still have a great night. Generators, umbrellas, candles, a bon fire, and a friend who played the guitar and sang for the first dance, all served to tide things over until the power was restored for the band to play the rest of the evening.
The bride graduated from Ponderosa High School in Parker, Colo., and from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz. She is the franchise marketing coordinator for Rock Bottom Restaurants Inc., Boulder, Colo.
The groom is a graduate of Carroll High School and has degrees from Purdue University and Colorado State University.
Following a honeymoon to Lake Placid, N.Y., Mr. and Mrs. Brewer are residing at 1371 Hudson St., Denver, CO 80220.
