Air Indiana Skydiving Center will attempt to set the state's first free fall record this weekend, Aug. 29-30. The date was incorrect in last week's Comet.
According to George Capitanio, the Center's co-owner, they expect to make at least five attempts at setting a record on Saturday.
The Center will be open both days from 9 a.m. to sunset. The public is invited to come and watch, but Capitanio suggests bringing your own lawn chair. Parking is available outside of the fence.
The skydiving center is located at the Flora Airport on CR 150W, just west of Flora off of SR 18.
