Married 40 years


Joe and Mary Jo Redmon of Flora celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Monday.

Redmon and the former Mary Jo Meek were married Aug. 24, 1969, at Lower Deer Creek Church of the Brethren.

He is employed at PEFCU and she is the Flora Senior Center site director.

They have two sons, Paul Redmon (wife: Jessica) of Flora and Joel Redmon (wife: Michelle) of Camden, and four grandchildren.
