Jeff and Donna Smith of Delphi announce the engagement of their daughter, Lydia Ann, to Parker Thomas George, both of Delphi. He is the son of Pat and Beth George of Delphi.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Delphi Community High School. She is a senior at Purdue University obtaining her degree in biology to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Her fiancé is a 2005 graduate of Delphi Community High School. In May he received his Bachelor's degree in elementary education from Purdue University. He is teaching fourth grade at Delphi Community Elementary School.

They will marry June 19, 2010, in Lafayette.
