Kiwanis Club will meet Saturday morning at 7:30 for breakfast and meeting at the fire station.

Park Board will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 2.

The United Methodist Church will observe Undy Sunday, a benefit for the Kokomo Rescue Mission, on Aug. 30. Those attending are asked to bring socks and underwear to donate.

The UM Church will have a free breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Sept. 12 in the church basement.

Crossroads Community Christian Church will have an all-church picnic Sunday at the park. The annual softball game will begin at 4 p.m. with the meal being served at 5 in the Community Building.

Faith Church of Christ will have its Fifth Sunday Carry-In on Aug. 30. Youth Sunday will also be observed that day.

The First Brethren WMS will meet Sept. 3 at the church.

Oakland Christian Church Jail Ministry is held at the Carroll County Jail at 7 p.m. Aug. 26 and at the Clinton County Jail at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 31.

Oakland Church will receive items on Sunday for the Kokomo Rescue Mission.

Devoted Methodist Women recently toured Open Arms, a shelter for women and children in Kokomo. Afterwards the group of 11 went out for lunch. They discussed their booth for the Fall Festival.
