The Faith Lutheran Church women's quilting group will meet Monday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bring a sack lunch and enjoy the fellowship.

Deer Creek Presbyterian Church P.W. Circle will meet tonight, Wednesday, at 7 p.m. at Sharon Herron's home. Michelle Knight is presenting Lesson 7, "The Oppressed Are Set Free." Mary Ellen Johnson is the circle chairperson with Mary Smith and Sharon Herron as hostesses. All women of the church are welcome.

The Good Neighbor Gals went out to eat recently. Those attending were Liz Mylet, Marilyn Hile, Betty Bell, Dot Fulton, Mary Ellen Johnson, Doris Jean Bryan and Mary Smith.

The Golden Girls of Deer Creek recently went to Lafayette for lunch. Those attending were Joann Jones, Pat and Bob Burnham of Thorntown, Dot Fulton, Marilyn Hile, Margy Albaugh of Deer Creek, Betty Gordon of Logansport, and Jerry and Mary Blue of Cutler. After lunch the group stopped at the hospital to see their friend, Liz Downham.

Sharh Brown entered the Kentucky State Quarter Horse Show and won first place in Novica Amature Showmanship with her horse Zippos N Trouble.
