Randal J. "Randy" Garrett, 41, Lafayette, died Sunday, Aug. 16, 2009, at Clarian Arnett Hospital, Lafayette.

Born Oct. 23, 1967, in Lafayette, he was the son of D. Randal and Joan R. Spitznagle Garrett of Lafayette. His marriage on Nov. 4, 1989, in Lafayette, was to Elizabeth "Beth" Gilmore, who is employed by First Financial Bank as branch manager in Flora.

Mr. Garrett was a BLA incineration service operator for Eli Lilly Laboratories.

Also surviving are two daughters, Jordyn and Sydney N. Garrett, both at home, and a brother, Mike Garrett (wife: Jennifer) of Atlanta, Ga.

Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Hippensteel Funeral Home in Lafayette.
