Mark and Jill Scharer of Cutler announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Denson, to Caleb Matthew Stevens. He is the son of Mark and Cecilia Stevens of Burlington.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School. She received an associate degree from Indiana University Kokomo in 2008 and is employed at Cook MED Institute in West Lafayette.

Her fiancé graduated from Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School in 2002 and received an associate degree from Vincennes University in 2004. He is employed by the United States Postal Service in Flora.

They are planning a Nov. 7 wedding.
