CHRISTOPHER DAVID CLEM of Cutler has been named to the spring semester dean's list at Illinois Central College, East Peoria, Ill.

Tufts University recently announced its dean's list for the School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering for the spring 2009 semester. Receiving academic recognition is NICHOLAS MYLET of Camden.

Tufts University is located on three Massachusetts campuses in Boston, Medford/Somerville, and Grafton, and in Talloires, France.

EMILY KISTLER of Flora has been named to the spring semester dean's list at the University of Findlay, Findlay, Ohio. She is a pharmacy major.

Carroll High School graduates who are former members of COUGAR BLUES are asked to send in their favorite recipes for a Cougar Blues Christmas Feast cookbook. The recipes should be emailed to Pat Spence, pspence@carroll.k12.in.us, by Aug. 1. Spence said the recipes can include family favorites, not just Christmas recipes. In addition, she asks the former members to include what years they were in Cougar Blues and relate interesting stories pertaining to the group or any other related memories. This year will be Cougar Blues' 18th Feast.
