Thomas H. Bulington, 67, of Delphi, died Thursday, July 9, 2009, at 5:47 p.m. at Home Hospital in Lafayette, where he had been a patient for two weeks. He had been in ill health for one month. Born Feb. 20, 1942, in White County, he was the son of Horace F. and Sarah M. Smith Bulington. His marriage was on June 9, 1973, in Monticello, to Waltraud W. "Wally" Tannert, who survives.

Mr. Bulington was employed from 1965 to 2004 as a machinist at Fairfield Manufacturing Co. in Lafayette.

He liked to garden and was a "jack-of-all-trades."

Surviving with his wife are two sons, Tommy Bulington (wife: Michele) of Monticello and Brandon Bulington of Oklahoma; one daughter, Erika Bulington of Lake Wales, Fla.; a stepson, Hans Geisler and a stepdaughter, Linda Mohler, both of Buffalo; five brothers, Dick Bulington of Kentland, Dean Bulington of Delphi, Jack Bulington of Rensselaer, John Bulington of Camden and Rick Bulington of Remington; one sister, Betty Day of Clarksville, Tenn.; and eight grandchildren.

Preceding him in death was a brother, Fred Bulington.

Graveside services will be today, Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m. at Masonic Cemetery in Delphi.

Arrangements are being handled by Abbott Funeral Home in Delphi.
