Carroll Manor hires marketing/activities coordinator
Jacque Eaglebarger has been hired by Carroll Manor for marketing and group activities through the Senior Community Service Employment Program. Eaglebarger is available to the public for tours of the facility by calling (765) 564-4340 after noon.
The new activity wing, completed in 2007, is available for public use. There is no fee but donations are accepted.
A variety of activities have been planned which include movie days, Friday garage sale days, trips to Dollar General, Alco and Dairy Queen, puzzles, bean bag toss and board games.
Residents played Bingo July 6 with the ladies from Living Faith Church of the Brethren and were treated to a boat ride on the Delphi at Canal Park the first day it arrived and after the Independence Day Parade in Delphi. Resident pictures are on display this week during the Carroll County 4-H Fair in Flora.
Members from Flora Baptist Church, Delphi United Methodist and Delphi Presbyterian Church visit regularly. Charlie Knott provides dance music routinely.
