A community park work day is being planned by the park board for July 25. There is much to do and many volunteers are needed.

The Area IV Senior Citizens van will take seniors to Kokomo for shopping and out to eat July 16. Those who want to go should meet at Burlington Apartments at 10 a.m. For questions or more information, call 566-2192.

A Burlington Area Neighborhood Watch Program will be held at 7 p.m. July 28 in the Community Park Building. The public is invited.

Kiwanis Club will meet Saturday for breakfast and meeting at 7:30 a.m. at the fire station. Speaker will be Rob Jordan.

Classy Classics E.H. Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church to share rides to the Porcupine Truffle in Flora for lunch and meeting.

The Church of Christ will have a seniors dinner and fellowship July 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the church.

Devoted Methodist Women will meet at the Burlington Church at 1:30 p.m. Monday. Speaker will be Patricia Zeck, science teacher at Northwestern High School. Hostesses will be Eileen Smith and Carol Heaton.

Crossroads Community Christian Church will hold Vacation Bible School July 26-31.

Adult Game Night at Faith Church of Christ will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. July 16 at the church.

Faith Church of Christ will have an all-church carry-in picnic July 26 at 12 noon at the Community Park Building.
