Deer Creek Presbyterian Church will have a book club meeting at the church on Monday at 7 p.m. to discuss current selections. They are "Three Cups of Tea" by Greg Mortenson and "Twice Pardoned" by Harold Morris. All interested persons are welcome.

At the Deer Creek Presbyterian Church on Father's Day a celebration was held for the baptisms of Grant Michael Prather, infant son of Michael and Stephany (Dyke) Prather and Willard R. "Bill" Dyke, Grant's grandfather, of rural Camden.

Faith Lutheran Church will have its monthly Senior Potluck on Tuesday. This month's theme is "America the Beautiful." Those attending are asked to bring a traditional American dish to share.

The group will meet at noon and everyone in the community is welcome.

Faith Lutheran Church's outreach program is collecting adult and children's multivitamins and triple antibiotic cream or ointment to send to "Fishers of Men" in Mexico.
