Delphi CWF

The CWF of the Delphi Christian Church met July 6 with Annabelle Larimore and Jackie Paris as hostesses.

Eleven members answered roll call by telling a memory of their Sunday school teacher.

Pat Curts read a letter from a missionary who works with Fame.

There will be a rummage and bake sale at the church on Aug. 8.

Plans were made for a harvest dinner on Sept. 20.

Jackie Paris gave the lesson on being fair, taken from Matthew 25.

The next meeting will be Aug. 3 with Pat Curts as hostess.

Wednesday Forum

Members of Wednesday Forum met for their July meeting at the home of Paula Foster. Cindy Anderson presented a program on making homemade goat's milk soap with the ingredients of palm, coconut, olive and castor oil, lye and goat's milk. Goat's milk soap is hypoallergenic and does not dry out the skin. Cow's milk can also be used to make soap.
