Examine license plate frames and covers

Working in conjunction with the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles while complying with a recent request from the Indiana State Police, AAA Hoosier Motor Club is encouraging all Indiana residents to examine their license plates for compliance with Indiana Code 9-18-2-16.

According to the Indiana State Police, Indiana law requires that all text and numbers on a given license plate be fully visible. They cannot be even partially obscured by plate frames or covers.
