Indiana Magic 14U fastpitch travel softball team recently completed in the Crown Point NSA "A" World Series Qualifier in Crown Point. Magic placed second, earning the team a partial paid berth to the 2009 NSA "A" World Series to be held in Chattanooga, Tenn., in July.

Magic team member Fallon Rumell, a Delphi Community Middle School student, batted .516 with 9 singles, 5 doubles, 2 triples and 14 RBIs.
