The 31st running of the Carroll County Hog Jog will be Saturday, beginning at Flora Community Park.

Sponsored by Flora Lions Club, the Hog Jog will get under way at 7:30 a.m. with the two-mile run/walk, followed by the 10K run at 8:15 a.m. and the 400-meter Fun Run for ages 2 to 7 at 9:30 a.m.

Registration will be open in the park on Saturday starting at 6:30 a.m. Packet pickup also will begin at that time.

The walk is free for those not wanting a T-shirt.

Flora Rotary Club will have a sausage and French toast breakfast from 6 to 10 a.m. at the park. All proceeds go to community projects.

The Idlers car club will have a cruise-in under the shade trees in the afternoon.

Also planned for Saturday is the Flora Community Club KICK Team's Secret Garden Tour from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Five home gardens are on the tour. For more information, call 967-3022 or see related ad on page 3A.
