Canen Ali Canen and Nicole Springer, Delphi Community High School Class of 2009 valedictorian and salutatorian respectively, have been named to the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association's (ICGSA) Academic All-State Team for tennis.

Canen, a two-year varsity team member, and Springer, a three-year varsity member, played doubles together for the first time. They were also recognized by the Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association with Canen making the 2009 1st Team Academic All-State Team and Springer receiving honorable mention.
