DCHS Soccer Camp

Delphi Community High School boys and girls soccer players for the fall 2009 season can attend a co-ed soccer camp to be run by Premier Soccer Academy. The camp will be held July 17-18 with sessions running Friday from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m.-12 noon behind the DCHS football practice field.

Volleyball Youth Clinic

Delphi Community High School Volleyball Program will host a Youth Volleyball Clinic July 6-10 for students in grades 3 to 8 in the DCHS gym. Participants will learn skills such as serving, hitting, passing and setting and take part in agility drills.

Students in grades 3-5 will meet from 4 to 5:30 p.m., while grades 6-8 will meet from 6 to 8 p.m.

Oracle wrestling camp

The Delphi Oracles will host a camp for all boys and girls ages kindergarten through 8th grade who want to learn about wrestling. Camp will run June 15-18 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the old Middle School Gym on Monroe Street. The wrestlers will be coached by the Oracle staff and wrestlers.

The young wrestlers will be taught the fundamentals of the sport as well as play games to improve their overall athletic ability.

DCHS tennis

Any boy or girl who will be a freshman next year at Delphi Community High School who would like to learn to play tennis is invited to attend the summer open courts beginning June 10 and 11 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the high school courts. These open courts will be held through June and July, except on July 1-2.
