Colledge NATHAN TRAPP of Flora recently graduated with honors from Muscatine Community College, Muscatine, Iowa, with an Associate degree in applied science. He was presented the college's highest agricultural award, the Walter Mitschele Memorial. Trapp had to meet high standards and qualifications to be considered for the award that has only been presented 15 times during the past 27 years. He was also one of three student speakers at the graduation ceremony.

CHANLER NORMAN of Flora has been selected for membership in the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS).
Formed in 2002, the NSHSS recognizes academic excellence at the high school level and encourages members of the organization to apply their unique talents, vision, and potential for the betterment of themselves and the world. Scholarship opportunities are also offered.
A student at Delphi Community High School, she is the daughter of Dr. Greg and Susan Norman.

CHRISTOPHER MILLER graduated in May from Oakland City University, Oakland City, Ind., with bachelor degrees in marketing and social sciences.
He also was named to the university's spring Dean's List.
He is the son of Mike and Kathy Miller of Flora.
SARAH COLLEDGE, formerly Sarah Johnson of Lafayette received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine during ceremonies held May 16 at the Elliott Hall of Music in West Lafayette. She received her degree and recited the Veterinarian's Oath.
Dr. Colledge studied biology at IUPUI in Indianapolis and gained entrance to the veterinary school in 2005. She is a 2001 graduate of Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis.
She will begin a three-year residency in Clinical Pathology at Purdue Vet. School. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Veterinary Pathology after becoming board-certified in clinical pathology.
Dr. Colledge is the daughter of Steven Johnson and the granddaughter of Charles and Florence Johnson of Delphi.
SARAH WRIGHT has been named to the dean's list at Hope College in Holland, Mich., for the second semester of the 2008-2009 school year. She is the daughter of Dave and Beth Wright of Brookston.
