Bordner JAY BORDNER was recently named Ralph Cleveland Professional Agent of the Year by Professional Insurance Agents of Indiana Inc. (PIA). Bordner was presented the award during PIA's Annual Business Meeting and Awards Ceremony held in conjunction with the annual convention in May.

Bordner, an independent agent with Brewster Insurance Agency in Burlington, was recognized for his dedication to professionalism, service to community, and continual efforts to promote PIA and the independent agency system.

"Jay promotes professionalism within the industry both in his actions and his leadership at the agency," said PIA of Indiana President David Neff, CIC. "His agency encourages continuing education among the staff, and Jay strives to build and maintain professional, enduring relationships with the agency's carrier partners."

Bordner is active in the community, serving as chief of the Democrat Township Volunteer Fire Department and as a member of the Carroll County Sheriffs Department Merit Board. He is an elder and deacon of his church and a member of the board of directors for the Carroll County YMCA.
