Camden man writes children's book
a Matt Phillips of Camden has written and illustrated a newly released children's book, "Ingo Flamingo."
The story begins as Mr. Quad finds a sick flamingo. He takes it home and nurses it back to health. In doing so Mr. Quad observes color changes in the then-named Ingo Flamingo. He contacts the veterinarian and finds out that he has made a mistake in the food given to Ingo. This mistake leads to the discovery of the item responsible for his flamingo friend's color change. They sell the new item as flamingo colorchanging food. A simple goodwill gesture leads to a new friend, discovery, and some financial gain. Trivia of the reason behind flamingos' pink color, the meaning of Quad, and the origin of the name Ingo is displayed.
