The Delphi Summer Recreation Program began offering activities June 5, however coordinator Sherri Cripe said it is not too late for youth who want to participate to register and begin participating as soon as the paperwork is finished. Registration forms are available, and can be turned in at the Delphi City Building on S. Union St.

Activities:

• Tennis Camp - June 8, 9, 11 and 12 for kindergarten through third-grade from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. and for fourth through seventh graders from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

• Golf Camp - June 8 to 12, from 9 to 10 a.m. for third through fifth-graders and from 10 to 11 a.m. for sixth through eighth-grades.

• Gymnastics Camp - June 8 to 12 and 15 to 19, from 2 to 3 p.m. for five to nine-year-olds and 3 to 4 p.m. for 10 year-olds and older.

• Conservation Camp - June 30, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. for second through sixth-grades.

• Aviation Day - June 13 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Delphi Airport.

• Watercolor Workshop - June 18 from 9 to 10 a.m. for kindergarten through thirdgrades and June 29 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon for third to seventh graders at Riley Park.

• Bubble Art - June 17 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Riley Park.

• Junior Golf League - June 2 to Aug. 11 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Carroll County Country Club for middle school students.

• Junior Tennis League - Every Tuesday, June 9 through Aug. 4, 6 to 8 p.m. at the high school tennis courts.

Road Trips:

• Tropicanoe Cove - Trolley trip July 3 for third through seventh graders.

• Canoeing with Mayor Randy Strasser - June 26, fifth through seventh-grades, Hodge's Canoe Trips at 12:30 p.m.

• Purdue Aviation - June 15, Purdue University Airport.
