The City of West Lafayette is showcasing eight local artists and six award-winning gardens in the Hills & Dales and Northwestern Heights neighborhoods at ART IN BLOOM, a free home-garden tour on June 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The public is invited to pick up a tour map at the home of Ann Hunt, 1149 Hillcrest Road, showing the location of the six homes on the tour, which will have red balloons and a planter of red flowers in the front yard. Each of the gardens is a previous winner of a West Lafayette Beautification Award.
2009 MINORITY AND WOMEN'S BUSINESS ENTERPRISES Summer Resource Fair and Workshop Series sponsored by the Indiana Department of Administration Minority and Women's Business Enterprises Division and the Black Expo Business Conference will be July 14 from 8:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Indiana Government Center S. 2009 INDIANAPOLIS COLTS' "MAKE IT PERSONAL TOUR" sponsored by the AAA Hoosier Motor Club will be June 15 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the AAA club office at 8100 E. US36, Suite F in Avon. Colts' players and cheerleaders will appear along with the "Colts In Motion" traveling museum and merchandise trailer. Opportunities to win Colts' tickets will be available.
